International Engineering Design Competition
Contributes as the Operations Manager and Assistant Brakes Engineer of Team-Falcon E Racing . This is one of the major projects done by the students of the department, and monitored by the academic staff. The project is to design, engineer and manufacture a formula style race car for Formula Student Germany - 2018/2019.
Upper Extremity Robotic Orthosis for Lift Assistance
Final Year Research Project
Leads a three person research team to design and fabricate a robotic exoskeleton for load lifting with novel hybrid actuation. Did a broad analysis of Bio-Mechanics of upper extremity including
the complex motion of the shoulder joint. Optimized the design using computational methods of Ansys, MSC Adams and MATLAB. Reduced human torque requirement by 30% and verified results using real-time current requirements and electromyography resting.
Design of a Geared Drive for a Petroleum Pump
The geared drive was designed to increase the efficiency of the pumping of Petrol Diesel, and Kerosene , from Sapugasjanda to Kolonnawa.
LightUp North
The project proposed to establish a solar power plant of 0.5MW in the Northern Province. The following studies and analyses was done in order to certify the feasibility of the project for credit supplier.
